2. Age and Geographic Limits
You have to be at least 19 years old to play on this site. This is a hard limit and we only accept players from Canada. By registering you legally confirm your age. It falls on you to check if fantasy sports are allowed in your specific province before you join.
3. Account Security
Your profile is for your personal use only. Give us real details when signing up. Never hand out your login credentials to another person. You alone carry the blame for whatever happens on your account. Email us the moment you suspect someone else logged in.
4. Rules of Play
Keep things fair. We ban people who use bots, data scrapers or auto-draft scripts. Teaming up with others to cheat the platform gets you permanently removed. Sending abusive messages to our team or trying to hack the servers will not be tolerated.
5. Skill Mechanics and Scoring
Fantasy hockey relies on your actual sports knowledge. We buy our live data feeds from third-party networks. While we pay for high accuracy those feeds can occasionally lag or glitch. Our internal points system is the final authority on all scores regardless of what a TV broadcast says.
6. Advertising and Transparency
We comply with Google Ads policies to keep the environment safe. The site does not push illegal gambling or run fake ads. How you draft and score points is totally public. We review the ads we display so users do not get misled.
7. Privacy and Data Rights
Your information belongs to you. We process personal data under Canada’s PIPEDA framework. If the GDPR applies to you we follow those rules as well. You can always request a copy of your records or ask us to delete your account entirely by sending an email.
8. Intellectual Property
We own the underlying code, graphics and text on sports-daytonabeach.com. We grant you a basic license to use the platform. Ripping off our logos or copying the layout to build your own app will lead straight to a lawsuit.
9. Third-Party Content
We sometimes link to outside websites. We do not control them. Once you click a link and leave our site we take zero responsibility for what happens next. You need to read their rules and policies on your own.
10. Payments and Fees
If we offer premium paid features the price will be obvious before you pay. We use secure transaction gateways. You will not find hidden subscription traps here. We might change pricing models in the future but we will warn active players beforehand.
11. Service Availability
You use the site as it is. Servers go down. Bugs happen. We do not promise a completely flawless experience every single second of the day.
12. Liability Limitations
If the site crashes right in the middle of a major game we are not liable for your losses. Our directors and staff will never owe you cash for indirect or accidental damages caused by using this platform.
13. Indemnification
You agree to shield us from legal issues stemming from your choices. If you break a law and someone sues us because of it you will pay our legal bills and lawyer fees.
14. Account Termination
We hold the right to shut down your profile if you violate this agreement. Cheaters get banned instantly. We do not have to warn you before deleting an account that poses a risk to the site.
15. Governing Law
The laws of Alberta govern this document. If a disagreement turns into a real legal case the courts in Edmonton will handle the matter exclusively.
16. Future Updates
We revise these terms as our business changes. For major updates we will try to post a notice 30 days before they kick in. If you keep logging in after that date it means you accept the new rules.
